I grew up in Mississippi, the child of a school teacher and an artist. I attended The University of Missisippi earning both bachelors and masters degrees in computer science from the School of Engineering. After graduating, I continued to live in Oxford, Mississippi, before moving to New Orleans in 2002. In 2005, an offer with a world class team at FedEx Services brought me to Collierville. I earned the coveted Five-Star award at FedEx before taking an offer to work for AutoZone in 2018.

I am currently employed with AutoZone in information technology. My wife, Hailin, is a registered nurse with the VA Memphis Medical Center. We have three young children Tommy, Jr., Elizabeth, and Christopher. We currently attend Collierville United Methodist Church.
